How To Set Up A Teleseminar

Saturday, January 8th, 2011

One of the easiest ways to market your business through technology is by using the teleseminar. The teleseminar is a conference call where you conduct the meeting and everyone listens in on their own user phone line. They call in to a phone number, enter a PIN number, and they can all listen in on the conversation.

The reason why teleseminars are so powerful is that you can make your whole presentation, and people can call in at their convenience and listen to the conversation without actively having to participate in the conversation. They can just kind of eavesdrop on what’s going on, and people can gain information without leaving the comfort of their home.

Which is great, especially if you have information that you want to share to different people around the country or even around the world. You just set the time and get out the phone number, and then they can call in and listen to the important information that you have to share with them.

So as a presenter, you will probably want to know some of the things you’ll have to do in order to prepare for a teleseminar. First off, you’ll need a company to host your teleseminar and give you a phone number and a PIN to call in.

And there’s a website called http://www.freeconferencecall.com. Basically you just sign up, and they’ll give you a phone number and a PIN number, and you can have that conference line for a full month absolutely free, and then the next month you can renew your free subscription with them, and it is totally free, and I provided that link in the text here http://www.freeconferencecall.com.

All right. So once you have your PIN number, now you have to invite people to your teleseminar. Now one way to do this is post it on your blog and have people sign up to it. If you have an e-mail list you can e-mail them. You can also contact your clients, your friends and have them sign up for the teleseminar, let them know it’s coming up on such and such date.

Also I would prepare a study guide to go along with you presentation so they can have something to look at as they’re listening to you on the phone. And so what I would do is go to Microsoft Word, prepare a simple study guide, some of the key questions that you’re going to be talking about. Leave areas where they can fill in the answers and simply save that word document as a PDF, or a portable document format, and post it to a website, or you could use something like Drop Box at dropbox.com and just simply upload it in your public folder and then just give people out that link.

When you’re on the teleseminar, you’ll want to have the information where you can get the study guide, and at the very beginning of the call, you’re just going to introduce yourself and tell people why they’re on the teleseminar and give them the URL to the PDF.

Ask them to download that PDF and actually print it out so that they can have it in front of them as they’re listening to the teleseminar.

The first five minutes of the teleseminar, that’s all you’re going to be talking about. You’re going to be talking about downloading the PDF, introducing to them what the program is going to be about, and then having them print it out and tell them the seminar is going to start in roughly about five minutes, you’re just waiting for more people to get on the line.

Once you start giving the content, you need to break it up into about 10-minute chunks. So let’s say your teleseminar is about 30 minutes long. The first 10 minutes you’re going to give the introduction part of your teleseminar. Then, at the 10-minute mark or 12-minute mark, you’re going to give a little — If you’re going to sell something on the teleseminar, that’s the time to give your little pitch about the product or tell them to stay until the end of the teleseminar and you’re going to give them a link to this special deal that you’ve got for them.

So you’re going to do a little promo piece. Then you’re going to give another 10 minutes of content, and at the end of the 10-minute content, then you’re going to do a soft pitch and you’re going to say “listen, this is only going to be up for a limited time. I’m going to give you a special deal. It’s going to be X% off, and here’s the link to that special deal that I’m going to give you today on the phone.”

So that’s how you conduct a teleseminar to make more sales and to product more customers. So I hope this information is valuable to you. I’ll see you in the next post.

Fighting Failure – For Positive Outcomes

Thursday, January 6th, 2011

Okay so what’s the big secret?  What makes someone successful or someone doomed to failure.

Well I’m going to explore this question and I’m going to talk to you today about how you can seek out failures to gain success.  And through this process I want you to gain a new confidence, a new courage, a new outlook on how you can achieve success through failure.

Failure means that you are going to learn and grow.  And if you aren’t learning and growing than you are stagnant.  When you fail at something we identify that which we are not good at and or don’t like to do.

Persistence is strengthened when faced with obstacles to sustain high levels of success this is an essential trait.  Failing keeps our ego in check, nothing like a good failure to bring us back to our humility.  Not achieving something strengthens us.

The saying “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger” – is true.  Note that sometimes the purpose and power of failure is not to realign us.

Whatever the role of failure is in your situation you have to come to terms with what can I learn from this experience.  What is failure in this particular area trying to teach me?

Many, many successful entrepreneur, inventors, scientists, have failed many times and they persist through that failure until they figure out the solution to the problem.  In your situation you have to do the same.

This may take a day, this may take a month, it may take years to get through this trial.  But you have to identify is this failure going to get me to my goal and to my dreams.

If I succeed at this will I benefit emotionally, will I benefit spiritually, will I benefit financially? How will this benefit your life?

So ask yourself those questions.  If you can’t answer those questions, if it’s not going to benefit you and any way shape or form then there is no need to persevere through it.  You need to find something else to do some other goals to pursue.

So here’s some ideas that you can do to persist through failure.

1. Shift your story about failure from the negative to the positive.  Make a new direction that when you fail you are actually getting closer to your goals.

2. Challenge yourself to take one new venture… You don’t need to do 17 all at once.

3.  Explore an area in your life that you feel like you’re holding yourself back.  Decide to do the opposite of what you normally do, for three weeks to challenge your comfort zone.

4.  Evaluate your current business for where you are fighting to keep things the same versus innovating and challenging the status quo.

And, last, when you do fail, and you will, remember what you used to do when you fell of your bike.  Get back up, shake it off, and don’t do what you did to fall off, and start biking again

Content Creation – Fast Technique To More Backlinks

Tuesday, December 14th, 2010

One of the biggest things that holds people back from being successful online and getting good quality SEO back link  is creating quality content.

It doesn’t have to be as difficult as people make it out to be. Many of us are not great writers or have writing as a natural skill.

Today I wanted to give you some ideas for creating content without actually writing the content yourself.

There are many, many forums available to you on the Internet. Forums is a place where people ask questions and get questions answered. So when people — good quality forums will have good quality people answering that content.

This content is public domain. That means that you can use this content on your own blog or website. Look for questions in your market place, go to these forums and copy the answers that people give for the questions.

Simply copy and paste it. Create a notepad or a Word document with these different answers, questions in it. Reformat it a little bit, add some more of your own insight to the content and then simply publish it to your website, blog, social media page, Facebook page, which ever and share this content through these distribution channels.

Then bookmark and ping  this information and get your content even more distributed throughout the Internet through social media and so forth.

The other thing is re-purposing content. Re-purposign content is when you take content that is either written or — usually written and you reformat it.

Now you can use articles that you find on the Internet, you could use PR releases and reformat them into your own content using video capture software, such as Camptasia  or other video capturing — or do video camera taping. Then just simply speaking and adding your own commentary on the particular article.

This is a great way to create content and it’s very free and effective. So use these strategies for creating content that will drive traffic to your website and give good value to your customer.

Publishing Content Online – Simple Resources

Sunday, October 24th, 2010

Developing a product doesn’t have to be as complicated or expensive as you
might think. Developing a product can be as simple as recording a simple
screenshot video on your computer using Camtasia Studio. Or, it could be as
simple as writing a simple e-book or book and publishing it to the Internet.

There’s a couple resources that I like to use to publish my content online.
The first one is Kunaki. Kunaki allows you to upload video, data files and even
electronic e-books using its free software to download. The great thing is that
you can create graphics to go on the cover of the CD case and the CD itself
along with an insert, and you get this all for $1 per unit. That’s right, $1 per
unit. Kunaki will fulfill your order for you.

It will even set up a website where you can send people to order your
product, and they will fulfill it for you, and it will cost you $1 plus
shipping, which will come directly out of your payment that you set up for your
account.

You could easily create an offer for $9.97 and sell a lot of these. You can
even post it to eBay, you can post it to Amazon.com and other merchant centers.

A second resource that I like to use is called CreateSpace . CreateSpace will
publish many different types of content, but what I like to use is its book
publishing content. Basically you just have to create a book that’s at least 25
pages long and you can even create your text at 14 point text so it takes up
more space in the book. You can write your copy using a service called
Copytalk.com, and they will transcribe your thoughts into text. So you can
really write a book a week if you wanted to.

The only complicated part is getting the text converted into the right format
for CreateSpace, but they have amazing tutorials and you can go to a website
called 99designs and get your a book cover designed once you have the right size of your cover from CreateSpace.

All right, so those are the two resources for publishing products online that
I recommend. I hope that you investigate these a little further and start
publishing your products today online.

Leads & Conversion With Bridge Page

Friday, October 15th, 2010

In today’s post, I wanted to talk about leads and conversions, and how to increase the number of leads that you get to your page. Simple is always better. The more simple you can make your page, with the less graphics and the more to the point that you can be with your page, the more opt-ins you will get.

Consistency is one of the marketing traits that you should try to implement into your marketing. For instance, if you ask someone to click on an ad to download a free newsletter, you should at least talk about the newsletter on the page that they click on to download the newsletter.

A simple white page with a nice headline, a small graphic that has written benefit statements , and a simple Aweber opt-in form at the bottom is sufficient for an opt-in page. Doesn’t have to be fancy.

You don’t have to make outlandish claims. Just a simple, download this for your report.

When they opt-in, you then send them to a bridge page that has two steps. Step one is to download the free report. And step two would be to click on a link for additional information.

The second option, when they click on it, goes to a sales page. The sales page could be a video sales page or a long form sales page, that talks about your product or service. By using this bridge page to go from your opt-in, you’re going to increase your conversion by about 40%.

Getting someone to purchase your product is one of the key steps in building an online business. Because you’re building not only a list of e-mail subscribers, but you’re building a list of buyers. And buyers, you know, have the capabilities of purchasing other products and services that you are offering.

So this becomes a lot more valuable than just have a subscriber list. I hope that you take some of these strategies and use them in your own marketing campaign.

Youtube – Video Ranked In Top Ten

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

Today I want to reveal to you how you can get ranked very high in a particular key word niche on YouTube. Basically YouTube works just like a search engine, and your video can get ranked in the top 10 listings on YouTube for any particular keyword that you want to, and it’s a lot easier than trying to get it ranked on the first page in Google.

In fact, if you get ranked on the first page in YouTube, many times Google will take that YouTube listing and put it on the first page of Google.

So you’ll kill two birds with one stone if you learn how to rank your YouTube videos  on the first page in YouTube. All right, so the first step is to create a video’s that’s of interest and is related to the particular key word that you’re trying to optimize for. You do this by researching and looking at other videos, and just finding the most popular videos and re-creating that video, or what I do sometimes is I offer that person a payment — I offer to sponsor their video basically, and I give them a payment to put my links on their video.

The second step in the process is to have a link going from your video to a webpage or an offer. You could send it to a page that rotates different ads and different offers to that page, but you need to have a hyperlink that goes from the page that the video’s on on YouTube to the offer.

Also, put in annotation over the video that says hey if you are interested about this topic, you need to go to www. and then your URL to get more information about the topic.

All right, the third step is to optimize that video so it gets ranked high in YouTube itself. What I use is a software called JumpStart 2. JumpStart 2, it’s somewhere around $97, you can have I think 25 links to 25 different videos.

Basically what it does is it sends about 200 to 300 views to that video per day, giving it more value to YouTube because it’s getting more views. After a week or so, you’ll see your video jump to the top 10 of YouTube for that particular keyword that’s in your title and in your tags.

The next thing that I would do, I would backlink to my video and I use another service for this and that service is called Linkaloha.com. Linkaloha will backlink using profile backlinks. That means it creates profile pages on different websites and then links back to your Youtube video  with the particular keyword that you’re trying to target. This is one way of easily backlinking and getting thousands of links back to your video which will allow it to rank higher as well.

The fifth step to good SEO, would be to create maybe five different Youtube  user accounts and I’ll go through and like my videos by clicking the Like button, I’ll also give it a little review and give it some comments so that it starts the comment flow going. So you can do this with several different accounts on Youtube itself. And it’s free to do this. Or you could use an outside service like Amazon Turk and hire people, or you can go to odesk.com and hire people to go to the Youtube channel and to like your videos and to leave comments.

Alright so that’s the basic steps of optimizing your Youtube video to get it ranked in the top 10 in Youtube. And, likewise, getting it ranked in Google as well. So, we’ll see you next time.

Figure out where the money is and get in front of it

Friday, September 17th, 2010

This statement is very true. You first have to find out what people are buying and then figure out how to get them to buy it from you. I have seen too many dreams destroyed by gut feelings. It can make the difference between those still punching a clock and making millions. More money is made in improving than is made in inventing. Millionaire have figured out where the money is and got in front of it. Dreamers are great but numbers don’t lie.

Here are some ways to find out what’s selling online.
1. Go to Amazon.com and see what the top sellers are in your market
2. Go to CBengine.com and see which products are selling.
3. Visit Ebay and see which products are being sold.
4. Take use Spyfu.com and see which advertiser is consistently advertising in your market

That is just few ideas to fine out where the money is. Now, you just have to advertise 1% better than the competition and you too can be in front of the money.

What does Google’s New rank Qualification mean to your ranking

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

Okay, in June Google activated a new component to it’s ranking system. In basic terms is measures human activity on a web site. In others words are people stopping by your web site? Are they subscribing to the RSS? Are they leaving comments on the site? Those type of things.

I have talked to a few of my friends who had good page ranking in the SERPS and they said they lost about 20% of thier traffic in the adjustment. Some the suggests from them are. First, make sure you have some kind of RSS feed or widget on your website. This will keep the bots coming back to your site to get updates. Second, use a
site like feedage.com to aggregate your RSS feed. This will get you some activity in RSS feeders. Third, step is to create daily back links – I use service call LinkAloha. You can set this to create as many high quality backlinks as you need.

By applying some changes to your sites you should be able to maintain to Search engine rankings.

Switch To Ask.com – Avoid The Google Bully

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

Are you tired of getting bullied by Google? It’s getting almost impossible to use Google Adwords unless you are a high roller and even then I have heard bad reviews. I created a brand new Adwords
account and sent traffic to blog hosted on my domain. Only to get this message two weeks after I stopped running my campaign.

“We are writing to let you know that your Google AdWords account is at risk of being suspended due to multiple violations related to our Advertising Policies, including the Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines.”

The letter went on to say:
“Landing pages advertised via AdWords must have relevant, original content, and must be transparent about the nature of the business being promoted. Further, advertisers are prohibited from promoting certain types of sites, which include, but are not limited to:
* Data collection sites that imply delivery of free items, etc., in order to collect private information
* Arbitrage sites without relevant and original content that are designed for the purpose of showing ads
* Affiliate sites without relevant and original content that are designed to drive traffic to another site with a different domain
* “Get-rich quick” sites that make unrealistic promises
* Sites that are deceptive
* Sites that distribute malware or spyware
* Extremely misleading/unverifiable or inaccurate claims”

So basically if I have anything to sell on my page it’s not acceptable.
